Dublin Scioto High School is home to the Irish and has several notable alumni that went on to play in the NFL. The northwest Columbus, Ohio suburb opened Scioto High School, its second of three high schools, in 1995 and won a state championship in football that very year. Since the school renovated their football stadium with a new synthetic turf system in 2013, the Irish have had all but one winning season within the Ohio Capital Conference. The team ended their 2016 ranked in the top 100 out of over 700 Ohio high school football teams.
Xtreme Turf was chosen and built by ProGrass as the surface of choice for the Irish for its proven safety, durability, and performance. Our artificial grass systems are specifically engineered to meet top natural grass benchmarks, inhibit vertical deformation, and excel through heavy use and intense climatic conditions. What this means for Dublin Scioto is that their football teams have a turf system that is prepared to support them through every practice and game and protect the Irish’s student-athletes from the most common injuries related to fatigue. These safety components allow athletes to perform to their full potential and perform excellent plays.
Good luck to the Irish on the rest of their 2017 season!
