Located on the eastern side of sunny Los Angelos is a public golf course in the Rancho Park community that has roots dating back to 1947. The historic course draws in large attendances each week to try out the challenging and technical course that has been host to 25 professional tour events.
In 2013 Rancho Park saw an immediate need to overhaul its driving range in order to meet the demands of its growing clientele. What was previously a brown and dusty eyesore was transformed into a lush and manicured range with grass, “sand traps”, and “water features” all manufactured from high-quality synthetic turf. The 171,000 square foot driving range of green, white, and blue turf is built to last in harsh climates with UV protected fibers that are engineered to withstand high-use on sports fields. Because the driving range is made completely of artificial grass, the California golf course saves time, money, and resources through the diminished need for upkeep. By eliminating the need for watering, mowing, and fertilizing the Xtreme Turf-surfaced range can remain open at all times and vibrant despite yearly water shortages.
