Act Global congratulates event organizers and provides sponsorship contribution to landmark American football event.

Austin, Texas – More than 80 post collegiate American football players from around the world, as well as thousands of fans, gathered for the inaugural 2013 ProGrass International Scout Bowl on March 15 in Florence, Alabama. Act Global would like to congratulate ProGrass and all event organizers on their success, and is pleased to provide a sponsorship donation to this landmark event.

“We would like to congratulate ProGrass and all event organizers for the execution of such a successful Scout Bowl,” said John Baize, director of Act Global. “This was an exciting opportunity to see top football talent back out on the field and playing in front of fans, coaches and recruiters. Act Global is proud to call ProGrass a partner, and to provide support to the Scout Bowl.”

The match up was comprised of a North and South team, and showcased football talent from the United States, as well as from Canada, Mexico and Europe. The South Team was led by head coach John Major, formerly a coach at Iowa State, the University of Pittsburgh and University of Tennessee. Coach Peter Vaas lead the North Team, formerly a head coach in NFL Europe, and currently coaching at University of South Florida. The event was hosted by EuroStopwatch and the Collegiate Development Football League.

Bowl game proceeds will benefit two charities, Team Focus and The Warrior Foundation, which provide guidance and scholarship assistance to children who are over coming significant life challenges.
