With nine world-class synthetic turf fields built in 2013, and ten already confirmed in 2014, the Act Global and Carpell Surfaces partnership is driving the demand for professional FIFA Quality playing surfaces in Canada.
Carpell Surfaces is focused on driving the standard for the highest quality synthetic turf systems in Canada. The company completed a total of nine full-size artificial turf fields in 2013, eight of which were FIFA tested and achieved passing results.
The artificial turf surfaces were a mix of soccer, rugby, lacrosse and multipurpose, expertly built to the highest quality standards to meet the guidelines set forth by FIFA and local sporting authorities. To achieve FIFA Certification, the manufactured product and finished installations are third-party tested for factors such as ball behavior, shock absorption, abrasion, traction, foot stability, UV weathering, tuft bind, durability and more.
