Featuring superior performance qualities, excellent pile resilience, and optimal ball roll characteristics, the advanced features of woven synthetic turf drive performance.
Since receiving their first Xtreme Turf WX50 FIFA Certification at MOSIR – Aleksandrów Łódzk Stadium, Act Global has achieved two additional FIFA Two Star Certified installations with the advanced artificial turf system in Poland.
The FIFA Certified pitches at Sport Center (OSiR) in Tomaszow Mazowiecki City, and Sport Center (GOSiR) in Piaseczno City, are a reflection of the area’s growing interest in the latest synthetic turf technology. The turf replaced old natural grass fields, and the clients chose WX50 for its durability, innovation and surface proven for player performance. Both facilities are high standard Municipal Sport Centers, to promote and develop sport among local societies.
Act Global introduced their woven product several years ago as a result of their investments in research and development and providing new, advanced synthetic turf solutions.
ADVANCED FEATURES DRIVE PERFORMANCE
For clients seeking an advanced playing surface with recyclability advantages, Xtreme Turf WX50 is an ideal solution. The unique manufacturing process weaves the artificial grass fibers into an interlocked woven backing system rather than tufted into rows, which creates a stronger tuft bind and dimensional stability.
The product has no PU or SB latex coating, and therefore is recyclable. The woven backing in lieu of coating also promotes better drainage.
One of the key features of the woven system is the resiliency of the pile. Due to the “W” weave formation, the synthetic turf fibers stand up straighter than a typical tufted product before any infill is applied. The distinctive woven technique results in very consistent ball roll and playing surface.
