Ray Moore Stadium received surface upgrades to world-class artificial grass from Act Global, installed by The KYA Group.
Austin, TX- This month KYA crews completed work to renovate the Victorville, California stadium by replacing the original natural grass field with high-quality synthetic turf.
Southern California’s Victor Valley Union High School District began searching earlier this year for an alternative to natural grass. The previous field had recurring issues of increasing water and maintenance costs and was seen as unsafe from holes created by burrowing animals and erosion. With uneven portions of the field, athletes were faced with a higher risk of injury.
Act Global’s Xtreme Turf is trusted across the world as the best artificial grass technology possible. Backed by years of research and extensive testing, Xtreme Turf is a proven surface to make athlete safety the number one priority.
“Not only is the field extremely functional in its ability to safely accommodate multiple different sports teams, it’s also beautiful,” comments KYA Regional Manager Andrea Ivey. “The large Jackrabbit centerfield logo is a serious visual enhancement to the stadium.”
The excellent relationship between Act Global and The KYA Group has helped bring professional-quality sports surfaces to schools across California.
Director of Act Global Chuck Fleishman notes, “We are proud to have a partner so tirelessly dedicated to quality. KYA shares our belief that better sports fields are created by first serving the needs of players, and we are honored to continue to work with their team.”

The Cardinals took home a victory over the Chargers in their NFL preseason debut on Saturday night and many new players, including rookie quarterback Josh Rosen had the opportunity to shine on the field. Training to be a professional football player takes countless hours on the field and endless exhausting practices to get players game-day ready.
The Arizona Cardinals know the importance of a highly-functional training center that supports the acceleration of their players. The Tempe, Arizona located training facility for the team features a 96,000 square foot environmentally-efficient building that was conceptualized with modern components to be at the forefront of sustainability. The indoor facility focuses on rest, recovery, and nutrition, and the outdoor synthetic turf field was designed for performance.
Since 2013 the Cardinal training center has featured Act Global’s brand of artificial grass as one of the team’s 3 practice fields. The synthetic turf system, unlike the natural grass field it replaced, is able to be played on year round regardless of weather conditions and hours played on already.

Metlife hosted its first preseason game last night where the Giants seemed to falter despite their home-field advantage. The 20-10 victory by the Browns was in large part from rookie QB Baker Mayfield who (unsurprisingly) was a star on the field after being subbed in during the first quarter. A second New York team has a chance to defend their home turf tonight, also at Metlife Stadium.
The Jets are 10 training practices into the preseason and it’s already apparent that many storylines will take place at tonight’s game. The most notable of these is the fight for the roster quarterback position between the current 3 players. Each offers something radically different from the team- a safe harbor in John McCown, a possible wildcard in Teddy Bridgewater, or a shining rookie in Sam Darnold. Running back rookie Trenton Cannon is also a possibility for the Jet’s offense as they are seemingly attempting to bolster up the depth-chart with younger players. Finally, many fans are anxious to see what Mike Maccagnan meant when he said that the team wanted to upgrade their passing rush. It is extremely possible that unless the current lineup begins to shine, trades could be in the future.
You can tune into the game on the official New York Jets App or by visiting newyorkjets.com/preseason.
