The week is almost over and we don’t know if we’re more excited for the weekend itself or all of the games going down on our turf! With 4 jam-packed days of high school, college, and professional team games, which one are you most excited for?

Houston Cougars

The University of Houston is leading the nation in total offense with over 608 yards per game and coming off of a week of rest to recoup after their 70-14 win over Texas Southern on September 22. The Cougars are likely to defend their home turf and turn their current 3-1 record into a 4-1.

Who doesn’t want to watch a game on this field?

Oregon Ducks

Fall soccer is heating up and the Oregon Ducks women’s team have a tough seventh week ahead of them.

Tonight is the first game of the weekend where the #1 ranked Stanford women’s team will be visiting Eugene, Oregon. Stanford has put up quite the fight this season and has beat two #2 ranked teams. However, the Ducks do hold a 6-0 record for home games this season, meaning Pape Field holds a serious home-field advantage for them. This is the first time the Ducks have hosted Stanford at home since 2013.

Also traveling from California to Oregon this weekend to face the Ducks is the University of California, Berkely Bears soccer team. The Sunday match will hopefully give the team another win at home to close of the week 7.

Friday, October 5th

Austintown Fitch

Coming off of a hard loss last week, Austintown Fitch is looking to redeem themselves this week against Lakeside. The team is using today for their final preparations before the 7 PM kickoff tomorrow.

Bishop Gorman

The 2018 season has been hard for Bishop Gorman. However, the team had a strong win last weekend and will hopefully continue that into tomorrow night’s game for the school’s Homecoming.

Saturday, October 6th

University of Hawaii

This weekend holds a lot of stakes for the University of Hawaii. First is the Paniolo Trophy. This Mountain West trophy is one of three in the region and currently symbolically held by the Rainbow Warriors. Possibly even more exciting than winning this trophy would be the team’s 200th win in Aloha Stadium on our turf. In 44 season the team has earned a 199-138-4 record, and Saturday could result in pushing the team to 200 wins.

Sunday, October 7th

New York Jets

This Sunday is sure to bring in a lot of fans-both old and young- to Metlife Stadium.  This weekend is Jets Kids Day, meaning the entire family can experience Jets Fest complete with inflatable rides and player cutouts.

Rookie Quarterback Sam Darnold is gearing up to start his second game at home.
